River matured slowly, but even as a lanky youngster, won multiple Best Puppies under judges such as Fran Ford. He won First Intermediate Futurity Dog under Dave Rinke, and Second Senior Maturity Dog under Rosalind Schaeffer. He finished quickly and in the specialty and all breed rings.
River has an excellent shoulder, sound back, very dark, almond shaped eyes, and rich dark pigment. His temperament is beyond reproach. He has a zest for life that is refreshing to see. He loves to play, and loves to swim or perch himself under a tree or on the couch and rule the roost. Sadly, I lost him a few years ago. He was my constant companion, my protector, my friend. His legacy lives on in his granddaughter, Ch. T-Ho Callian's All That OFA and her BIS son.
