Texas Dogs

Tia is a Papillon. She is extremely intelligent, easily trained, but also very mischevious. Typical of the breed. Right now she's probably looking for ways to blame the other dogs for the bad things she's done.
Always an entitled princess, she pretty much runs the house.

Scout is my Standard Poodle. I've always wanted a big poodle, and she is everything I expected and more. Bred by Phyllis Tawater, she was meant to be a show dog, but I didn't have the patience to do all the grooming it takes to keep them  in a long show coat.

Funny story - I dropped her off at the groomer one day and spent a few hours shopping, having lunch, etc. Five hours later, I went back to pick her up and found her wet under the dryer, ungroomed. I asked the young groomer what was going on, and she replied, "She's so dirty, I bathed her EIGHT times with this whitening shampoo and I STILL cannot get her WHITE." To which I replied, "That's because she's cream colored." :) We found a new groomer.

So, she's Champion of my house, and is regularly blamed for the mischief Tia gets into.
